Meet the Administrators
Message from the Principal
It is an honor to serve our beautiful Sheppard Community! Every day I look forward to all of the meaningful work, effective instruction, and opportunities to team around student achievement. Only through collaborative teams will we lead our students to reach their highest academic, social, and emotional success. I look forward to the opportunity to work with your families to directly support our children throughout this important transitional time in their lives.
I began my service in education as a teacher in the Franklin-McKinley school district in 1993. I spent six years in the district as an elementary and middle school teacher. In 1999 I joined a non-profit in partnership with Intel to develop curriculum and train teachers around the world on how to best integrate technology in eduction. It was an amazing experience. In 2012 I returned to the classroom in Alum Rock. For the past 12 years I have spent my time as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, instructional coach, and now Principal.

Hello Sheppard Community!
As I am beginning my first year here at Sheppard as the Vice Principal, I am honored to have the opportunity to support our learning community. Contributing a combined 10 years of service in roles as a Para Educator, Special Education teacher, Summer Bridge Coordinator, Coach for new teachers and Department Chair, I am committed to youth empowerment promoting equitable access for all. Paralleling my passion for youth advocacy I’ve earned a double masters in Special Education and Public Administration.
While serving our Sheppard community, I'm proud to support the growth of our students, their families as well as our instructional team. I look forward to collaborating with you in supporting student needs.
